about me

Let me introduce myself, mariko hashimoto.

I am a registered aromatherapist by the Aromatherapy Registration Council, and a New York State licensed Esthetician.

I was born and raised in Kumamoto, Japan. My family has owned a soy sauce brewers, Marukame-soy, for generations which has affected what I create. I studied and apprenticed with renowned aromatherapist Patricia Betty who wrote two beautiful books, “Aromatherapy:  A Personal Journey Through Your Senses” and “Essential Beauty.”  I live with my two children and  husband in Inwood, Manhattan.
